Technical

Product Size

• Most products within this website are designed to accept C4 envelopes (229mm x 324mm envelopes which hold an A4 page) which is suitable for the majority of domestic and commercial applications. However we can also manufacture products in a variety of sizes including a capacity for larger C3 envelopes. Most of our products can also be sized to receive the mail lengthways or sideways.
• At the Safety Letterbox Company we offer products suitable for every application, with the facility to adapt our products to suit every customer's individual requirements. Aperture size, for instance, can be adapted after consideration of a) type of incoming mail b) risk of theft c) how far away the mail ends up relative to the aperture position.

• In addition to complete flexibility across our range, we offer a number of special benefits and features which are only available on our unique Safety Letterbox designs.

Strength

• Manufactured using steel, aluminium and stainless steel. Designed to combine aesthetic quality with strength, durability and maximum security.
• Wherever possible access doors form only part of the front face of the product, allowing large strengthening sections to be welded into position making the product immensely strong.
  If doors have to form the full front face, these would be recessed within the carcass of the mailbox making leverage difficult.

Heat Conservation and Noise Reduction

• Through the wall products can be fitted with insulated doors (standard on Mailforce products) which create a thermal break from inside to outside and also offer significant noise reduction.
