Material Specification
The FR 2 is a high specification mailbox manufactured from zintec steel then polyester powder coated to a depth of 75/100 microns. (Sample tested to 1,200 hours salt-water spray). The assemblies satisfy the integrity criterion given in BS476: Part 22: 1987, Clause 8, for a period of 60 minutes. Fitted with inward sprung letter plate incorporating intumescent linings to flap aperture.
Locks
Each box fitted with a disc tumbler lock as standard with modified claw cam – alloy die cast, bright chrome finish supplied with two keys per lock with up to 2000 key differs, master suited.
Fire Rating
The FR 2 mailbox is fire rated for 1 hour (integrity only) and comes complete with name display case, but also has the option of permanent engraving or high quality vinyl numbering.
