The Domestic is an in front / out front mailbox that can be either wall mounted or wall recessed to suit the requirements of the client. The Domestic mailbox is ideal for both using as an individual mailbox or configuring into a bank of multiple mailboxes.
The mailbox is manufactured using galvanised steel and aluminium extrusion, and finished with polyester powder coated paint to a choice of colours from our standard range. The Domestic mailbox is suitable for either external or internal installation.
The Domestic can also be manufactured to feature a roof on the top of the single mailboxes, ensuring rain does not settle and pool.

What colours can the Domestic mailbox be finished in?
All mailboxes in our range can be finished with a polyester powder coated paint from our standard RAL colour range.
Where can the Domestic mailbox be installed?
The Domestic mailbox is typically located internally, but can be fitted externally with additional weather cladding.
I’m concerned about crime in our area, are there any additional security features available?
Yes. Gap restrictors can be supplied with the Domestic lateral mailbox that reduces the mail aperture from a standard height of 19mm down to 10mm. Adding a gap restrictor is particularly useful in “at-risk” areas of crime where mail theft may occur.
Can this mailbox be engraved?
Yes. All mailboxes in the Safety Letterbox range can be engraved with customised characters.
How is this mailbox typically fitted?
The Domestic lateral mailbox can be either wall mounted or wall recessed, both internally and externally to suit the requirements of the client. If using this mailbox in a bank of multiple mailboxes, the product can be mounted on freestanding support legs or tables to suit.
