Investors in People is a community interest company and an agent of change, calling for a movement that puts people first.
The Safety Letterbox Company has been re-accredited! Investors in People carried out a company wide survey and picked a percentage of employees to interview, this allows IIP to get an in-depth feel on how the company handles it’s employees. These surveys and interviews were completed in March 2021. In July 2021, we were re-accredited for the 19th year!
Richard Frazer-Williams, IIP Practitioner said:
It has been a pleasure to work with the team at SLB during the company’s recent assessment and much deserved reaccreditation. SLB uses the IIP framework as an integral part of its people and development strategies, and it shows. The award is far more than “just another badge” to SLB, it is in the company’s genes.
SLB’s people are proud of the company, which despite significant changes over the last decade or more, and the recent challenges posed by the pandemic, still feels like a family business. “It’s a big company now, but a family business at heart”.
Alison Orrells, Managing Director & CEO, said:
“Our people are the backbone of this business. We would not be where we are today without their commitment, knowledge, and determination.
Ensuring they are informed, engaged and passionate about our business enables us to provide the best product and service for our customer. Investors in People is a framework that helps us structure our plans and benchmarks us against industry standards.
We are always striving to improve all areas of our business and to make work better. Gaining another re-accreditation 19 years on from our first is a huge positive especially during such challenging times.”
The past 18 months have been challenging, but throughout we have been resilient and proactive. We understand that our people, and their commitment, is essential to The Safety Letterbox Company’s future.
