We were invited last week to visit New Scotland Yard to present mailbox and parcelbox compliance to standards and testing within the Built Environment.

We are delighted to be able to share our 37 years of knowledge and experience, facing any challenges head-on and continuously working towards Designing Out Crime. A subject we are totally committed to and passionate about.

According to a recent article by Post and Parcel, the UK has suffered the greatest increase in parcel problems worldwide. The survey found that more than 8 million packages were lost or stolen in the UK in a 12-month period, from May 2021 to April 2022. This is up more than 5% compared to the previous 12 months.

The recent Pitney Bowes Parcel Shipping Index* showed that parcel growth in the UK grew to 5.4bn in 2021 and is expected to rise exponentially by 2025. The other statistics also say that in the UK there were;

171 parcels per second
15mn parcels per day
80 parcels per person
192 parcels per household

This is an incredible industry growth and shows a need for intelligent parcel solutions throughout the UK.
