Who are 2B Enterprising?

2B Enterprising creates flexible learning programmes which teach young children to be enterprising whilst introducing them to valuable life lessons and skills. They deliver their programmes into primary schools in collaboration with the community & corporate engagement partners.

Their ‘Bumbles of Honeywood’ programme is the first Foundation Phase and KS2 enterprise skills initiative, which provides schools with the essential tools they need to help young children realise their future potential.

What school will we be supporting?

The Safety Letterbox Company has chosen to support Gnoll Primary School in Neath. The primary school is a mixed school with ages 3-11 attending.

Why SLB are partnering with 2B Enterprising?

Here at SLB, we are committed to our Social Responsibilities, part of this is instilling knowledge and skills into our future generations. The Partnership with 2B Enterprising gave us a perfect way to really make a difference in the teaching of the younger generation and providing extensive business knowledge.

Resilience, collaboration, and hard work are key skills for children to learn, along with the basic foundations of business. These points will allow them to be creative and think with a can do attitude.

It is important to give young people the best possible chance and as many opportunities as we can for them to succeed.

“We are delighted to attract innovative employers such as The Safety Letterbox Company on board as a partner. Alison Orrells has been a great supporter of our enterprise initiatives in the past – recognising how important it is for us to inspire the younger generations in relation to the job opportunities that exist in design and manufacturing. The relationship with Gnoll Primary School is going to be a real success as both parties are exceptionally committed to raising the aspirations of young people. The Bumbles of Honeywood programme is the perfect vehicle for a collaboration between business and education and we’re excited to see how this partnership will develop.”

Alison Orrells, MD & CEO, The Safety Letterbox Company said:

“We are so passionate about encouraging young people to grow into enterprising and hard-working individuals, to become future employees and leaders, to break down barriers and give them a small insight into our world and the diverse roles within business. Through 2BEnterprising we are investing in our future – supporting their mission to deliver skills to young people at an important time in their development and to introduce the ethos, reality and culture of Business to them in a subtle, interesting and fun way through their support materials, books, games, activities, projects and interaction with others outside of their school environment. It is a fantastic addition to the childrens learning and we are fortunate to be able to sponsor this in our chosen local school, Gnoll Primary.”
