THE PROJECT
When an architect approached us to produce 2 hour Fire Rated mailboxes for 139 Greys Avenue, Central Auckland, New Zealand, we were able to confidently deliver with experience of supplying 22 countries over recent years.
This project was extremely important to the client as the largest single building social housing complex in the country for people with complex needs.
The client wanted to create a supportive housing development that represents their vision ‘ a place to call home’ with all facilities available and community and support at its heart. This included shared areas, medical services, recreation and learning space.
THE SOLUTION
We produced a bank of 2 hour certified Fire Rated mailboxes in Umbra Grey RAL 7022 matt to be recessed, complete with slip trim and engraving. These were safely Air Freighted to New Zealand for install on site.
SLB were the very first manufacturer to design and produce 2 hour Fire Rated mailboxes and parcelboxes, tested and certified at Warrington Fire Laboratory (part of the Elements Group).
