We’re fully committed to operating safely, responsibly and in an environment of continuous improvement. That means we are always applying best practice and the highest possible standards across the whole of the business to ensure everyone feels safe whilst working.
Mental Health
We recognise that anyone can face mental health problems, and we believe that this should not be hidden. It’s an issue that we’re really serious about addressing and we’ve signed the ‘Time to Change Wales’ pledge – a public declaration of our intent to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination. And more than that, 20% of our staff are trained mental health first aiders, helping to promote a transparent culture in which everyone can feel safe to open up and talk freely.
Employee Engagement
We also recognise that little extras can help to make work more enjoyable, which is why we’re always open to suggestions from the team – asking our own people what would help to make them happier at work. We operate a company-wide suggestion and reward scheme, always have an annual Christmas get together, and have introduced a company lottery and an annual company raffle. And, when it’s your birthday, you can expect a little gift from us!
