Weather shielding is typically integrated into banks of freestanding mailboxes positioned externally where they may be placed in an exposed position to the elements.
Weather shielding typically takes the form of a Perspex sloping roof attached to the bank of mailboxes which slopes away from the front of the bank ensuring rainwater falls away from the opening mail aperture location on the mailbox.
A variety of different types of weather shielding is available with each item individually designed and manufactured to meet the specific requirements of each project.
