The development will provide 512 high-quality homes, ranging from 1- to 3-bedroom apartments, each with its own private balcony or terrace – offering residents a unique blend of comfort, elegance, and lifestyle.

As part of their commitment to quality and compliance, Walls Construction approached The Safety Letterbox Company to design, manufacture, and supply a secure and fire-rated mailbox solution that would align with the building’s safety requirements and premium design standards. With decades of expertise and a proven track record in high-volume residential projects, The Safety Letterbox Company was the trusted choice for delivering a tailored mailbox system for Claremont.

With a large number of residential units and a focus on both design and safety, Walls Construction required a mailbox solution that not only complemented the contemporary architecture of Claremont, but also met strict fire safety regulations. The mailboxes had to be discreetly integrated into the interior environment, while being robust enough to handle daily use and ensure secure mail delivery for over 500 households.

To support the needs of this large-scale, design-led residential development, The Safety Letterbox Company supplied 523, FR2 Fire Rated mailboxes, each certified to provide up to 2 hours of fire resistance. This ensured full compliance with fire safety regulations, while also offering peace of mind for both residents and the client.

These in front / out front access mailboxes were wall-mounted within designated mail areas to maximise space and maintain clean, unobtrusive lines within the interior layout. This installation method also allowed for easy mail retrieval by residents while enabling postal operatives to deliver quickly and efficiently from the front.

Each mailbox was finished in RAL 7021 Black Grey Matt, a modern, sophisticated tone that blends seamlessly with the development’s premium aesthetic. To enhance the user experience and improve navigability, we added engraved numbering to each unit—providing a permanent, elegant solution that won’t fade or wear over time.
