Situated in the heart of Dublin 8, Cork Street – Liberties House represents a new era of premium co-living within the city. The project combines individual studio apartments with thoughtfully designed shared spaces to create a dynamic, community-driven environment.

Comprising 371 private bed spaces arranged around a series of circulation cores, this vibrant scheme sets a new benchmark for large-scale, design-led co-living in Ireland. The main contractor, Elliott Group, worked alongside their Fit Out Division and Total Fitout, collaborating with world-renowned interior architects Concrete to deliver contemporary interiors that merge functionality, comfort, and aesthetic excellence.

To complement this distinctive architectural and interior design vision, Allied approached The Safety Letterbox Company to provide a bespoke mailbox solution that could meet both spatial constraints and design expectations within the high-end co-living environment.

With 370 mailboxes required across a compact communal area, the key challenge was to design and install a system that delivered maximum capacity within limited space—without compromising the bold, design-led aesthetic that defined the project.

The solution needed to reflect the creative architectural palette while maintaining functionality, precision, and durability suitable for a busy residential development.

To meet the client’s unique requirements, The Safety Letterbox Company supplied MODA H300-110 mailboxes—a flexible, modular system renowned for its contemporary design and robust build quality.

The mailboxes were installed wall-recessed to optimise space and maintain a clean, integrated look within the building’s shared areas. To bring the architects’ creative vision to life, the units were finished in a striking array of colours—RAL 3005 Wine Red, RAL 3015 Light Pink, and RAL 3033 Pearl Pink—carefully selected to enhance the vibrant interior scheme and reflect the project’s youthful, modern identity.

Each mailbox was engraved with numbering and finished with a white infill, ensuring clear visibility and a refined finish that complements the overall aesthetic. The result is a visually engaging installation that seamlessly blends practicality with personality—transforming a functional feature into a standout design element.
