Miller’s Quay is a landmark residential development located within the ambitious Wirral Waters regeneration scheme in Liverpool. Delivered by Graham Construction, this transformational project provides 500 highly sustainable one- and two-bedroom waterfront apartments, including 100 affordable homes, ensuring a diverse and thriving community.

Designed to set new standards in sustainability and innovation, Miller’s Quay not only delivers high-quality homes but also contributes significant social impact – offering employment, training, and learning opportunities for local people and students at neighbouring Wirral Met College.

As part of the development, Graham Construction turned to The Safety Letterbox Company to supply a secure, design-led mailbox and parcel box solution that would meet the demands of a large residential community while complementing the architectural vision of the scheme.

With 500 apartments across the development, Miller’s Quay required a mail and parcel solution capable of handling high volumes of daily deliveries, while ensuring durability, security, and ease of use for residents. The client also needed a solution that would integrate seamlessly with the building’s modern design and colour scheme, aligning with the project’s sustainability and aesthetic ambitions.

To support the ambitious scale and vision of Miller’s Quay, The Safety Letterbox Company designed and delivered a fully tailored solution that combined MODA 300 Horizontal Mailboxes with a myRENZbox intelligent parcel system. Together, these products provide a comprehensive mail and parcel delivery solution that meets the practical needs of 500 households while reflecting the development’s modern aesthetic.

The MODA 300 mailboxes were chosen for their robust, modular design and their ability to handle the high daily volume of deliveries expected in a residential community of this size. Installed in a wall-recessed configuration, the units integrate seamlessly into the communal areas, creating a streamlined appearance that maximises available space and avoids clutter.

To complement this, a myRENZbox intelligent parcel solution was incorporated, ensuring the development is future-ready for the rise in parcel deliveries driven by online shopping. The system allows residents to collect parcels securely and conveniently at a time that suits them, while reducing congestion in reception areas and improving operational efficiency for delivery providers.

For visual cohesion, all units were finished in RAL 7016M Anthracite Grey, a sophisticated neutral tone that blends perfectly with the building’s architectural palette. To further enhance usability and align with the building’s branding, each mailbox features engraved numbering infilled to co-inside with the building outer colour, providing a bold, permanent, and elegant solution that ensures clear visibility while reinforcing the scheme’s design identity.

Every detail—from the choice of materials to the integration of colour and numbering—was carefully considered in close consultation with Graham Construction. This collaborative approach ensured the final installation was not only fully compliant with safety and operational requirements, but also delivered a high-quality, resident-focused solution that enhances the overall experience of living at Miller’s Quay.
