ONYX

ONYX is a new Build To Rent development situated along the Regent’s Canal in London. The new residential building is adjacent to the King’s Cross and St Pancras International Stations. The development is in a highly desirable and rejuvenated area of London. The new residential building is within walking distance of Granary Square, a brand-new north London public realm.

The 12 storeys residential development comprises of 117 apartments ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms, which offer 24hr concierge services, access to residents’ roof terrace and an onsite cycle storage. The building is accessed via two stunning lobby areas where careful consideration has been made to its first impressions. The development also features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that open onto a private balcony where you can see the views of Camden or Islington.

The Safety Letterbox Company worked alongside the Interior Designers to create a mailbox that had a high-end look that is practical and completely secure for their residents with consideration to design, layout, and fire specifications of the project. After a few options were presented, the client chose our FR2 mailbox, a horizontal in front/ out front 2-hour fire-rated mailbox.

Our 2-hour fire-rated mailbox range are commonly used within an evacuation route as they are capable of holding back a fire or containing a fire for at least 2 hours, satisfying building and fire regulations. They are fully tested and certified by Warrington Exova.

The mailboxes were powder coated in a special colour – MATT Pearl Gold (RAL 1036) giving the mailboxes a stunning high-end aesthetic finish.
