Access Control:

The access reader is built into the locking handle and the ID carrier – key card, wristband, key fob or bracelet – is simply presented to the reader and XS4 locker lock will grant or deny access. Its built-in audit trail facility automatically records the last 1,000 operations and the battery pack, electronic components and locking mechanism are all located on the inside of the door safe from any potential vandalism or sabotage.

Design:

The SALTO XS4 electronic mailbox lock offers an ergonomically designed twist operated locking handle that makes for easy use, even with wet hands, and its durable wipe clean construction makes it highly resistant to chemicals; UV radiation and physical wear and tear ensuring a long lasting, smart appearance.

Audit Trail:

The SALTO electronic post box lock features an in built audit trail facility that automatically tracks the last 1000 operations of the lock. The data recorded by the lock is logged on to a central software platform that can be used to monitor who used the lock and at when date.

Software:

The software needed to use the SALTO XS4 lock can be supplied with the mailboxes or alternatively products can be fitted retrospectively depending on the requirements of the user. The software needed to program SALTO locks and grant access permissions can be supplied with our mailboxes. Please contact us for more information.

How does the SALTO lock work?

An electronic card is presented to the receiver lock on front door of the mailbox and if the card is authorised to access that particular mailbox, the item will be unlocked. Turn the handle on the SALTO lock and the front door of the mailbox will open.

Can I use a new SALTO mailbox with my existing SALTO system?

Yes. The SALTO mailboxes we manufacture can be integrated retrospectively into existing SALTO systems to offer a comprehensive access system.

What software is available for the SALTO lock?
